Calaveras Tree Care has been providing tree care and consulting services throughout the Sierra Nevada since 2009. Our owner and Registered Consulting Arborist, Nate Berner, will meet with you personally onsite, and does all of the consulting, pruning, and pest management work himself, so you can be assured that you are receiving the highest level of quality tree care. Nate is the first and only Registered Consulting Arborist in Calaveras or adjacent counties.
Consultation Services
We offer consultation services on all tree related issues.
ARBORIST REPORTS
We provide comprehensive and professional reports when written documentation is needed. Our extensive training in report writing ensures that our observations and recommendations are presented clearly and are easy to use and understand.
|
TREE INSPECTIONS
The scope of a tree inspection can vary between an individual tree or thousands of trees. Practical recommendations are provided based on the species, size, health, structural condition, site conditions, and a diagnosis of any pests, diseases, or disorders.
|
REAL ESTATE INSPECTIONS
Tree health and safety can have significant implications for a property owner. Potential buyers of real estate can do their due diligence by consulting with an Arborist prior to completing escrow. We are able to provide escrow inspections in a timely manner to meet your deadlines.
|
TREE RISK ASSESSMENTS
We maintain a Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) through the International Society of Arboriculture. We use our knowledge of tree biology, tree biomechanics, and the failure profiles of different tree species to help our clients understand the risk associated with their trees.
|
DIAGNOSIS & TREATMENT
We are very familiar with the tree pests, diseases, and disorders found in the Sierra Nevada mountains and foothills. Making an accurate diagnosis is the first step toward finding appropriate solutions. Let us help you identify the problem and put a management plan in place.
|
BARK BEETLE MANAGEMENT
There are several different bark beetle species of concern in the Sierras. Each vary in regards to their host preference, life cycle, and habit. What is appropriate from a management standpoint depends largely on the pest species, severity, and time of year. We can advise on what management actions will be most effective to preserve the trees on your property.
|
CONSTRUCTION IMPACT MITIGATION
Trees are easily damaged during the construction process. We can help you determine which trees are the best candidates for preservation, and provide comprehensive tree protection guidelines and monitoring to ensure that trees are developed around responsibly.
|
MANAGEMENT PLAN DEVELOPMENT
Management plans can be developed for individual trees, landscape trees around a home, or many acres of forest or woodland. Objectives may include improved tree or forest health, pest or disease management, fuel reduction, or wildlife habitat enhancement.
